Major Awards & Grants: Received 3rd Prize from the 2nd EMAAR Internation al Art Symposium competition Dubai, UAE; 16th Shilpokala Academy National Best Award 2005; Awarded from the first Islamic Art Biennale, Tehran, Iran; Jury Award from the Montana International Miniature Art Competition USA in 1993; Best Award for Abstract Painting from the Georgia International Miniature Art competition USA in 1992; Grand Prize from Kodo Art Exhibition, Tokyo Japan in1989: Best Award from the 11th National Young Artists Art Exhibition and Best Award from “Victory day of Bangla desh”, Bangladesh Shilpokala Acade my, Dhaka Bangladesh in 1988. Zainul Abedin Best Award from Fine Art Faculty, Dhaka University in 1977.
